Baros Maldives is a very attractive resort with a lively atmosphere.
The 61 thatched roofed bungalows are tucked discreetly among the
island’s lush vegetation. The 16 wooden water bungalows are
built on stilts in the sea. Unwind and enjoy the pristine white
sand surrounded by the clear turquoise sea. Transfer time is 1
hour by local Dhoni motorboat from Malé International Airport.
( 14 kms). Baros Holiday Resort is a 15 min speed-boat from the
airport to the island.

Two stunning suites, which are more like elegant villas await
those who are seeking the ultimate in holiday luxury. Here you
can be king or queen of your own little castle. At the end of
a winding path set in a landscaped tropical garden, the spacious
patio leads into the elegant living room where you sink into the
soft comfort of the welcoming sofas. A door leads out onto a balcony
overlooking a garden, while your own private stretch of beach
is only a few steps further away.
Back inside, a folding glass partition creating the illusion of
a beautiful picture window, opens into the light airy bedroom.
A regal four poster bed on a polished wooden floor and an ornate
dressing table and mirror completes the impressive setting. The
bathroom, too, echoes the luxurious theme with its elegant modern
equipment and fittings. A kidney-shaped bathtub set in the middle
of an indoor garden allows you to bathe amid scented blooms, or
you can step out of the garden into a shower area. Feel like royalty
for the duration of your stay.

The Baros Holiday Resort offers the following dining options :
International Restaurant, Bar, Coffee Shop and BBQ (Grill) Restaurant
.Two restaurants and 3 well-stocked bars serve a good selection
of local & international cuisine plus some mean cocktails.
The meal plan is usually a buffet Breakfast, a set Lunch and a
buffet Dinner for the guests on Fullboard. But the resort offers
other options for guests to enjoy the variety on offer.
DIVING:
The Maldives
is reputedly the best place on earth to dive, so whether you're
an experienced diver or a complete beginner, you have the opportunity
to experience one of the most beautiful underwater places in the
world. Experienced PADI instructors are available to teach you
what you need to know, and at the end of the course you will have
your PADI certificate so you can return again to dive. Instruction
is available in Dutch, English and German, and all equipment is
available at the Baros Dive School.
