The hotel is only 20 miles from Hulule International Airport, on the North Male Atoll. There is a speed boat transfer from the airport to the hotel. Transfer time is 50 minutes by speed boat.

36 air-conditioned Lagoon villas separate from each other with private Sun decks and individual ladders providing easy access from deck to shallow water. 30 air-conditioned Garden Villas a few feet from the shore with individual hammocks on the beach. Taj Coral Reef Resort is a well equipped villas offer either garden or lagoon views. The lagoon villas are built on stilts on the lagoon and boast a private balcony and sundeck with access to water. Garden villas are located on the sand with their own private garden. All rooms have guest amenities like international direct dial facility, colour television with satellite channels and in-house movies, coffee and tea-making facilities, mini bar and a personal safe.
